Undergraduate Housing

No matter what housing area becomes your home at Penn State University Park, you’ll be within walking distance to dining facilities, computer labs, and classrooms, and will enjoy your #LiveOn experience. First-year students enjoy living in traditional residence halls, renovated residence halls, and suites throughout campus, and upper-class students can select from traditional and renovated residence halls, suites, and apartments. There's a space for everyone!

Pennypacker Hall
East Halls

East Halls is the largest residence hall complex on campus, housing first-year students in 16 coed renovated residence halls.

Eastview Terrace
Eastview Terrace

Eastview Terrace houses upper-class students in seven residence halls. Each student has a single room with a private bath. A limited number of double-occupancy rooms with a private bath will be available for the 2025-26 academic year.

Nittany Apt Complex
Nittany Apartments & Suites

Nittany Apartments features four-person apartments for upper-class students. Each apartment features a living room and kitchen.

Nittany Hall is a suite-style building located in the complex.

North Halls

North Halls offers suite-style rooms in four residence halls for both first-year and upper-class students. First-year students can also live in Robinson Hall, a renovated residence hall.

Pollock Halls

Pollock Housing Area is the second largest residence hall complex for first-year students, offering nine traditional coed residence halls.

South Halls

South Halls offers three traditional-style residence halls housing both first-year and upper-class students, and nine renovated residence halls reserved exclusively for upper-class students.

West Halls

West Halls offers a true, traditional collegiate feel - beautiful brick buildings which open onto a quad with symmetrical walkways and arches that lead to the heart of campus. First-year and upper-class students are assigned to the six coed traditional residence halls.

White Course Undergraduate Apartments

White Course Apartments are located on the west-end of campus and provides a convenient and comfortable apartment complex for upper-class undergraduate students, graduate students and students with families.
