Traffic Advisory for students returning to University Housing on Saturday November 30

University Housing re-opens on at 4:00 p.m. Friday November 29. Students are encouraged to return on Friday night or Sunday, due to the Penn State Football game vs. Maryland scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday November 30.

Students returning to campus should expect heavy traffic getting to, from, and around campus on Saturday. Game Day Traffic Pattern will be in effect.

EAST HALLS RESIDENTS / LOT 82 PERMIT HOLDERS

Students living in East Halls and students with a Lot 82 permit who must return on Saturday, please note that access to Lot 82 student parking areas will be unavailable from approximately 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday. The following accommodations are in place for Saturday:

• Lot 82 permit holders returning Saturday should park at the East Parking Deck. Tap your Penn State id+ Card at the in-lane machines to enter and exit. Vehicles must be parked in Lot 82 by 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Sunday. 
• Parking for parents, families, and anyone dropping a student off at East Halls will only be able to park at the East Parking Deck. The parking fee is $2.00 for the first hour and $1.00 for the second hour, if parked less than two hours. If parked for additional time beyond the two hours, the $40.00 event parking rate will be charged.
• Access to East Parking Deck: After 12:00 p.m. (noon) Saturday, access to the East Deck will only be available by traveling east on Park Avenue, from Atherton Street and then turn right on to Bigler Road. This corresponds with the Game Day Traffic Pattern.
