Young Hall
Young Hall, part of the Eastview Terrace complex, was built in 2004. Each student has a single room with a private bath, and each floor is clustered into houses made up of 8 to 22 student rooms. A study/social space and laundry facility are located in each house. Brill Hall, located off McKean Road, offers a meeting room, conference room, vending, and kitchen open to all residents of Eastview Terrace.
Young Hall is named after Phillip Young. Young was an Ernest Hemingway Scholar and a Professor of English at Penn State. He authored several books, including Ernest Hemingway; Ernest Hemingway: A Reconsideration; and The Private Melville (published by the Penn State Press).
