Brill Hall
Brill Hall, part of the Eastview Terrace complex, was built in 2004. Each student has a single room with a private bath, and each floor is clustered into houses made up of 8 to 22 student rooms. A study/social space and laundry facility are located in each house. Brill Hall, located off McKean Road, offers a meeting room, conference room, vending, and kitchen open to all residents of Eastview Terrace.
Brill Hall is named after Julia Gregg Brill (1891-1985), who was the first woman professor in the English Department at Penn State. In 1930, Brill was the first woman elected to the Penn State Alumni Council. In 1958, Brill was awarded the first Penn State Woman of the Year award. She also was a member of the Board of Directors for the Penn State Foundation and a friend and counselor to many students.

Students interested in hanging decorations in this hall should use this recommended material: thumbtacks (less than 20). Other material (wall-safe tape, poster putty, etc.) is NOT recommended due to the potential damage to the walls. NO furniture modifications; nothing screwed or nailed into furniture. NO LED tape lights.
