Winter Break - University Housing Closedown

University Housing will CLOSE for fall semester on Saturday, December 21 at Noon.

Please make your travel plans with these dates in mind: 

  • University housing CLOSES at noon on Saturday, December 21
  • University housing OPENS at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 12

Early arrivals prior to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 12 are not permitted without prior approval - student credentials will be rejected before 11:00 a.m.

Students who do not have a Break Access/Holiday Housing HFS Contract are expected to vacate; students who are returning to the same room for spring may leave their belongings in your room.

Before you go:

  • Remove all trash and perishables
  • Turn lights off and unplug all electronics; DO NOT unplug MicroFridges
  • Close and lock windows

Students who are not returning for spring semester or who are changing rooms should follow the move-out instructions to avoid charges for damages and/or cleaning fees.
